The beach by the Barbados Yacht Club affords some good bathing and wonderful sunrises and sundowns.
The Club was founded in 1924. It was opened on December 26, 1924 by a Sir Charles O’Brien. The beach onto which it backs is known as Carlisle Bay, and is a beautiful sandy stretch with a clear unthreatening ocean in which to bathe swim dive or float. Obviously there are boating activities, but these cannot compete with the spectacular sunrises and sundowns you may witness there.
